About Us
Hi there, welcome to our small business!
To begin, you may be wondering where the name Bear & Bea Co. came from! This business was named after our two standard poodles, Beau Bear and Lucy Beatrice (Bea). We love our pups, but before they came along, we had Oliver (the kitty in our logo)! Back in 2013, we adopted a sweet, orange tabby cat into our family. We all adored Ollie but came to find out that some of us were allergic. Fortunately, we still get to see Oliver in his new home at Grandma and Grandpa's house! We were heartbroken having to re-home Ollie but knew there was still room in our home and hearts for a pet. After some research, we found Beau who was easier on allergies. We bonded instantly and fell in love with the standard poodle breed; They are smart, athletic, fashionable, and so, so sweet! Beau was such a perfect fit for our family that we decided to add another pup to our pack. Lucy is our high-energy counterpart to our low-key Beau. Together, they make a good team!
We started making bandanas to use on Beau and Lucy's growing Instagram following in thought of selling them. After receiving positive feedback, we decided to start making these for other pet lovers that love their pets as much as we do! When Covid hit, it gave us the perfect time to launch the business. We love supporting other small businesses and we hope you'll enjoy supporting ours! We provide high-quality, handcrafted bandanas that are cute, clever, fashionable and fun. We aim to be earth-kind with minimal packaging and waste. We know your pet will look great in our bandanas and hope you will love our products as much as we love making them!
